Bora Then

I will be in Bora in the next few hours.

I can still remember my first time in Bora 4 years ago.
It was Holy Week and the whole Island seems to drown with the load of tourists on that week.
There were a lot of freebies along the beach, hot bodies, endless parties, and bottomless booze.

We were in a very tight budget at that time and I do hope that this time around I can get my first Bora Braids and will have my birthday dinner at Friday's.

I was able to save only 5 pics and I hope that I can get more memoirs this time around. Di pa kasi uso digi cam nun sa buhay ko kasi pulubing estudyante lang ako nun...hehehe

See you next week!!!

Dolphin Watching and Fish Feeding in Bohol

During our island tour, we have experienced to watch the Dolphins swimming in the sea upclose and feeding the fishes in the marine sanctuary in Balicasag Island.

Oh yes, I have seen dolphins in the sea numerous times during my sea trips but not as close as what a rigged boat can give.

To my excitement, I can't help but to exclaim "WOW".

View it below.

Bad thing though, it seems like our guide is in a rush as he did not pursue to spot more swimming dolphins at that time as he wants to proceed to Balicasag immediately. Also, the dolphins look like kawawa kasi everytime their bodies appear in the water, the bancas hurry up to their location and it seems like they are so disturbed by the motor running in the waters...

When we were in Balicasag Island, I never expected that we will be see and feed different kind of fishes!!! And I mean it...

My friend was sooooo amazed that he can't help but say, "It's so Amaziiiiiiiiiiiiing..."

He is kinda taong gubat but, anyways, this one is unforgettable as I was able to capture it through my underwater camera...

The whole Island Hopping Tour: Dolphin Watching, Balicasag Island, and Virgin Island, costs only Php1,500 ($34). Once you go to Balicasag Island, you need to have ride a small banca with a guide that costs Php150 ($3.50) per person and if your tour doesn't include snorkels, you can rent them at Php150 ($3.50) each also. These can be hired in the island itself.

If you are planning to go to Panglao and do the same adventure, here are my tips:

1. Wake up early!!! Dolphins can easily be spotted around 6:00 am til 10:00 am. The boatman and the tour guides will pick you up on or before 6:00 am as it takes 15-20 minutes to go to the sea where the dolphins are. This was our problem on our 2nd day as we were too lazy to wake-up that's why we postponed our tour on the 3rd day.

2. Ask your boatman to take time to spot the dolphins. Some boatmen will proceed to Balicasag immediately and doesn't have the patient to give you more experience with the dolphins...grrrrrrrr...

3. Balicasag Island does not offer just good snorkeling but fresh seafood and sightseeing as well. Nagpapicture pa kami sa monkey dun.
Back to what I'm saying, when you arrive there, you can see a lot of vendors selling fresh fish like in Dampa Seaside. You will just pick a fish you want to feast on and they will cook it for you, ala paluto in Tagalog, or in French, ala carte.

4. Visit the old and the new tower in Balicasag. It is will just take a few minutes
to reach these towers. Just make sure that you will not get lost along the way, like we did. :(

5. Take time to chill in Virgin Island. Boatmen don't like to spend more time in Virgin Island and they would even do the maang-maangan look as if they don't know that Virgin Island tour is included in the trip. Ask the boatman to bring you there and hang your hammock anywhere and chill....
Then, forget about the boatman...kidding

Enjoy tripping!!!

Party at Warehouse 135

Last Friday, our company has decided to throw a Flower Party at Warehouse 135. This is the 1st major event in our company this year. Unlike the previous year, we have quarterly bar parties and 2 out of town trips. I was expecting a fun day outside the Metro, but sad to say, there is an ongoing curtailing of unnecessary expenses.Anyways, the motif itself is kinda baduy. I'm sorry to say this. It sounds like Mayor Atienza is going to the party at the sound of flower. The previous "Luau Party" sounds more acceptable than "Flower Party".

Yes, I did stay just for a couple of hours as I have to attend my office works first. When I arrived at around 11pm, everyone was already in a hyper mode and was sweating around, a contrast to my fresh-showered body.

The lights was good, music was fine, and it was spacious.
As usual, there was an open bar and free pica-picas. The whole crowd was banging and the bar itself is not bad at all.

But sad to say, I only drank a glass of mixed vodka since I have to go back to the office and fix a few things.

Overall, I had a great 2-hour bonding time with my office friends... :)
Warehouse is a new bar in Makati frequented by partyphiles nearby Ayala Ave and also visited by those who prefers a little privacy and space.

Warehouse 135

Entrance Fee: Php150-Php250 (around $3-$5) depends on the occassion

Recent Changes - A Whole New Blog

First of all, I would like to apologize for the long absence. I guess, you can see that my last post was last May 19. I know that it doesn't matter, anwways. I'm not famous or anything like that...but, these days, I'm pretty preoccupied with a lot of things...But now that I'm back on track, I have finally chosen a new look for my blog as well as new banner (below).

These recent changes were made because my previous rounders template can't accommodate the Multiply Video Pics and it covers the widgets and makes it more confusing and distracting to read my blog...So, I browsed for other kinds of templates and I have finally chosen one that fits for my entries...

While I was browsing through and being picky, I have found sites that are really helpful in beautifying your blog look and I hope that you guys could try it as well.

1. suckmylolly - This is where I got my template. The author has a lot of templates to choose from. But mostly, the templates are pacute, so I recommend it to girls...

2. Blogs Gone Wild - You can find a lot of artistic templates here. So I recommend this to emo people or those who writes seriously. The downside is that most of their templates can't be customized. I actually opted for this one at first but I want to change some features, which I can't, so I decided for Suck My Lolly.

I hope that you will like my future posts...

Enjoy reading... :)

Manila Hooters Girls - a BIG Disappointment!!!

After a long wait...Manila Hooters is already here in Manila!!!

Sad to say, when I found out the pictures in Anton's blog, the Manila Hooters girls are way beyond from their International Counterparts!!!

I can't help but to gasp with a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT feeling about this!

I was expecting good-looking, sexy, smart girls....
Sad to say, they did not meet the requirements!!!

I was surprised to see the Manila Girl Hooters...
They looked like they were picked up from the Ermita streets...Manila Hookers

They are a lot of beautiful and smart looking Filipinas. Sad to say, we are not well represented...

I hope Manila Hooters will not be like LA Cafe or Outback...full of Manila Hookers!!!

eventhough, i still want to go there....for a catfight....just kidding

Good thing, their food looks delicious and enticing
-------------

The best time to go there is before May 8 while the International Hooters Girls are still here or else...
