...We're gonna party like it's my birthday....I just arrived from my Bora Trip and I was sooooo surprised when the security personnel told me that there was a package for me...I thought it was my new Metrobank credit card...
Instead, I got a dozen flowers and a cake from kwanghui aka. corny boy who happens to be my boypren and I'm sooooo happy.
My heart fluttered...hehehe (kinilig tuloy ang bato kong puso...)Thanks a lot...Corny Boy!!!
Btw...we already ate the cake...hehehe

Happy Anniversary!!! - Friday the 13th

Grabe!!! Friday the 13th pa nagkataon ung anniversary ng batch namin dito sa opis...

I never imagined that we will endure this long. I confess that at first I felt that I have no hopes in this company that I worked for. I thought that I'm not good enough or strong enough to withstand the trials, the workload, the environment, especially the not-so-nice people that I work for. Siguro hindi na mawawala yun wherever you go, ayt?

But it is also here that I found true, lasting friends. I believe kasi na "when a farmer harvests, he doesn't count how many rotten apples he has but on how many good apples he got".

Thanks to the movie that I watched before. It really inspired me.

Ang tagal na pala namin dito...Bihira sa mga customer service companies ang tumatagal ng 2 years ah.. Yung iba, 3 months pa lang, lipat na ng iba...

It's our 2nd year and I'm thankful to God for always guiding us and making us strong.

Enough of drama, cheers to that!!!

Andun sila sa Dampa ngayon to celebrate...sayang di me makasama...I need to woooooooooooork...

Happy Birthday, Steffi!!!

Sweet 17!!!
Today, is our lil' sis birthday. I literally mean lil'.
lil' girl
lil' hands
lil' arms
lil' balikog legs
lil' dreams like shopping...
lil' money like 20 bucks in her wallet
lil' celebration

I know that she's a bit sad that there is no celebration about this "Special Day" but Steffi, always remember that it is not how big your birthday bash that counts or the gifts that you will receive but how you have lived for the year that passed and how you look forward for the year ahead....

More BIRTHDAYS to COME!!!

Back from Bohol

I just got back from my 6-day trip to Bohol and Cebu...It was really awesome and I'm still in a vacation mode....At the same time, I can't wait to go back home as I'm missing my own bed and I have to wake up to the reality of getting my ass to work, face my day-to-day responsibilities, and my life...

During my vacation, I was able to experience a lot of Firsts...

1. 1st time to snorkel in a marine sanctuary
2. 1st time to go dolphin watching
3. 1st time to test my camera underwater and I loved my camera even more... ;)
4. 1st time to see a tarsier...they are sooo cute and adorable...

I'm really missing a lot about my vacation and I can't wait to share more of it...
I highly recommend BOHOL to travelers...A must-see place!!!

Party at Warehouse 135

Last Friday, our company has decided to throw a Flower Party at Warehouse 135. This is the 1st major event in our company this year. Unlike the previous year, we have quarterly bar parties and 2 out of town trips. I was expecting a fun day outside the Metro, but sad to say, there is an ongoing curtailing of unnecessary expenses.Anyways, the motif itself is kinda baduy. I'm sorry to say this. It sounds like Mayor Atienza is going to the party at the sound of flower. The previous "Luau Party" sounds more acceptable than "Flower Party".

Yes, I did stay just for a couple of hours as I have to attend my office works first. When I arrived at around 11pm, everyone was already in a hyper mode and was sweating around, a contrast to my fresh-showered body.

The lights was good, music was fine, and it was spacious.
As usual, there was an open bar and free pica-picas. The whole crowd was banging and the bar itself is not bad at all.

But sad to say, I only drank a glass of mixed vodka since I have to go back to the office and fix a few things.

Overall, I had a great 2-hour bonding time with my office friends... :)
Warehouse is a new bar in Makati frequented by partyphiles nearby Ayala Ave and also visited by those who prefers a little privacy and space.

Warehouse 135

Yakal St. near Makati Fire Station Ayala Ave. cor Buendia Ave.
Entrance Fee: Php150-Php250 (around $3-$5) depends on the occassion

**Slippers, sandos, and men's shorts are not allowed.

Recent Changes - A Whole New Blog

First of all, I would like to apologize for the long absence. I guess, you can see that my last post was last May 19. I know that it doesn't matter, anwways. I'm not famous or anything like that...but, these days, I'm pretty preoccupied with a lot of things...But now that I'm back on track, I have finally chosen a new look for my blog as well as new banner (below).

These recent changes were made because my previous rounders template can't accommodate the Multiply Video Pics and it covers the widgets and makes it more confusing and distracting to read my blog...So, I browsed for other kinds of templates and I have finally chosen one that fits for my entries...

While I was browsing through and being picky, I have found sites that are really helpful in beautifying your blog look and I hope that you guys could try it as well.

1. suckmylolly - This is where I got my template. The author has a lot of templates to choose from. But mostly, the templates are pacute, so I recommend it to girls...

2. Blogs Gone Wild - You can find a lot of artistic templates here. So I recommend this to emo people or those who writes seriously. The downside is that most of their templates can't be customized. I actually opted for this one at first but I want to change some features, which I can't, so I decided for Suck My Lolly.

I hope that you will like my future posts...

Enjoy reading... :)

Goodbye Itay!!! :(

"Itay" means father in tagalog. He has never been a father figure though but he is a funny friend and a manager. He was my former department manager when I was still a budding employee of our classified company. I remember one time, he said to me that I am "childish, sarcastic, yet funny" :). Which I strongly admit...I'm just a girl having fun...

Now, after 2 years of working here in Philippines, he has decided to go back to his hometown, Israel... He even sent pictures of his hometown to everyone....very funny...I'll post the pictures here next time as it is really a nice place to visit...

Today is Itay's last day in the company and I think he is kinda sad leaving...Philippines is such a happy place isn't it? And he already made some Filipina girlfriends???? hahaha...I'm sure he will be leaving them behind as well...
saaaaaaaaaaaaaaad... :(

Actually, Itay and the chat team (including me) has a lot of memories shared and I hope that he will be bringing them along on his way home...

Bye Itay!!!
We will miss your pasalubongs!!!
We will also miss your sometimes being unreasonable....hehehe... peace

Happy Mother's Day!!! :)

Mere, mutter, maji, madre, makuahine, mom, nanay -- however you say “mother,” it means love. The second Sunday of May is the time to celebrate Mom’s love with flowers, gifts, greetings, and most especially, hugs and kisses. Because we all have moms and because this is such a special day, we couldn’t resist learning how Mother’s Day became an official and well-deserved holiday.
i want to greet all mothers a HAPPY MOTHER's DAY,
especially to my nanay...!!!
Let's drink to that!!!
Cheers!!!

Manila Hooters Girls - a BIG Disappointment!!!

After a long wait...Manila Hooters is already here in Manila!!!

Sad to say, when I found out the pictures in Anton's blog, the Manila Hooters girls are way beyond from their International Counterparts!!!

I can't help but to gasp with a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT feeling about this!

I was expecting good-looking, sexy, smart girls....
Sad to say, they did not meet the requirements!!!

I was surprised to see the Manila Girl Hooters...
They looked like they were picked up from the Ermita streets...Manila Hookers

They are a lot of beautiful and smart looking Filipinas. Sad to say, we are not well represented...

I hope Manila Hooters will not be like LA Cafe or Outback...full of Manila Hookers!!!

eventhough, i still want to go there....for a catfight....just kidding

Good thing, their food looks delicious and enticing
-------------

The best time to go there is before May 8 while the International Hooters Girls are still here or else...

Hooters
Esplanade
Mall of Asia
Pasay City

The Growth Gap Year: A Period of Confusion

Today, I met my college friends...
It seems that little has changed eversince we left our respective alma maters...
Still feeling young and the vibrancy is still obvious...

Gossips, rumors, and intrigues will always be there...
And we did ask each other "Where are we going?"
"I don't know" I said...

"It seems like I love my life these days.
Carefree.
No responsibility."

They also have the same thoughts in mind.
They are living the same way as I do.

Living day by day.
No worries where the future heads...

Until we talked about our other friends...
Talking about backstabbing...
No we weren't...
We just care...
Friends do care...

Some of our guy friends back in college already lived with their girlfriends...
They had them get preggy...

For someone who's just 22, it's a disaster...
Or am I the only one thinking this way...

Fresh from college, you have a very good future that awaits you...
And suddenly because of teenage angst and lust...
We were forced to live this life unknowingly.

I'm 23, a year ahead than my college buddies...
Have a good work but with nothing...

I'm still living like a nomad...
Hopping from one place to another...

I have no laptop...
No car
No house
No TV
No furnitures

In short...it seems like I have no future...

I don't know where all my salary went for these past 2 years...

I made an excuse to my friends:

This is the Growth Gap Year...

In a man's lifetime, we do go several stages....

From 4-6 years old, a kid doesn't know if he is still a toddler or already a kid

From 11-14 years old, we are confused whether to still act like a girl or a teenager...

From 21-24 years old, we sing like Britney " I'm not a girl, not yet a woman"....

Hahaha....
